1993 - 1994

Tim was living in Lowestoft, and had just brought to an end his band - Chain Gang Blues Band, and his duo - After Midnight. He decided to move away from blues and start a new duo. The design was to form a boy/girl duo which covered a wide range of material to suit all sorts of venues. Being a duo it was obviously very difficult to get a full sound, and to find backing tracks. So armed with just a few karaoke backing tracks the long road begun. The first female vocalist was Joe. A good singer who worked very hard on the initial set up stages. Sadly she moved on, deciding it was not for her.

1995 - 1996

In 1995 a Superb vocalist joined up with Tim. This was the extremely talented Eleanor. They did a lot of performing on the jam circuit. She had a gorgeous strong voice but had to leave as she passed an entrance exam to one of the top drama colleges in the UK.

1997 - 2000

Erika was next on the roll of honour displaying Knight Moves vocalists. She worked very hard on the song list, and with the help of a brilliant keyboard player, 3 hours worth of songs were recorded and the duo was ready to roll & rock.  Although at first it was rather Heath Robinson'ish equipment wise. A second hand 22 channel mixer, only 5 required, 250 watt PA, miss-matching speakers, and a crummy old tape deck.

In 1997 Tim and Erika Moved to Norwich.

Within a few months they  also moved on to a midi file keyboard, powered monitors, and 1200 watt PA. Tim and Erika spent the next 3 years touring all over the Country.

2000

Time for another two vocalists. Katie and Emily joined up. Katie was again a very talented vocalist, and Emily was superb too. Katie came up with one of Knight Moves' best ever quotes. Which may appear on the quotes page?

2001 - 2002

Losing all these vocalist could be seen as careless behaviour. But there is still another five to go. Dawn and Marcia joined up in 2001. Dawn's and Marcia's voices melded together beautifully.

2003 - 2005

In 2004 Claire 1 joined. Silly name I know, but one needs to differentiate between the two Claires'. Claire 1 worked very hard perfecting the songs. Marcia was still singing too.

At the end of 2005 Lauren joined to replace Claire 1.

2006 - 2007

Heidi joined and made a brief appearance performing two gigs before retiring pregnant.

In early 2006 Claire 2 joined.

2009

A tough year for all bands, as pubs and clubs struggled in the recession. Anis Joined Tim  as the latest Knight Moves singer.
