History.  Knight Moves was established as a professional duo fourteen years ago. The duo performed on the holiday camp circuit, pubs, social clubs, and private parties. Since then they have performed over two thousand gigs at a wide variety of venues. Five years ago they decided to expand the duo to a trio, and introduced a second female vocalist. The majority of Knight Moves gigs are still duo, but increasingly the trio are getting more bookings with 2008 being the best year so far.

The Music.  Knight Moves perform a wide variety of music to suit individual venue requirements. From Robbie Williams to Tina Turner, from disco classics to rock and blues. With over six hundred songs to choose from, the duo/trio can please any audience. Knight Moves are fully self contained with keyboards, guitar, PA system, monitors and lights.

Line Up.  The constant in Knight Moves is Tim who has been there since the beginning. Tim plays lead, slide and rhythm guitar, presents, sings backing vocals and controls the lights and the sound. He has played in many bands covering the full musical spectrum. Tim is an established guitarist renowned for his guitar playing skills, which include his unique violining technique.

Tim is a prolific song writer, (over 600 written and recorded) and has written music for local and national radio and TV. He sold one of his songs to Bill Wyman of The Rolling Stones. Tim started his guitar playing career in a country band in London, which soon became a country rock band. He then progressed to a rock band for six years and then a rock and blues band. Knight Moves covers all Tim's musical abilities.

 Gemma has joined the duo this year. She has a great voice and lots of experience and has started gigging. The duo consists of Tim and one of the girls, the trio Tim and two of the girls. The duo and trio set lists are basically the same, but with a few variations. The girls take turns in taking the lead vocals, whilst the other harmonises. At larger venues Knight Moves set up extra overhead and floor lights, and a smoke machine, and use roadies too.

Knight Moves has a superb reputation for their performance, music quality, reliability and professionalism.

The band arrive in black trousers and polo shirts sporting the Knight Moves sunset logo for setting up. The band members change their clothes for each set up to six times a night.
